Job Description

Offering contract through until end of December 2020, working with large ever-growing municipality in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. 

Benefits to you:
  • Contract through until December 2020 with potential to extend
  • ASAP start
  • Paying up to $42 per hour + super 
Duties include:
  • Assist customers who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty with the use of IT applications, products or services
  • Provide professional, responsive, timely and effective assistance to customers in resolving a range of IT related incidents and tasks, by phone and email
  • Act as a first point of contact, effectively manage all customer requests through to completion
  • Assist and contribute to the technical implementation of IT strategies, products, migrations and enhancements as required
  • Conduct regular follow ups with customers to assess the effectiveness of advice delivered
What you need:
  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science or related area and experience in Service Desk
  • Ability to create knowledgebase articles
  • Knowledge and experience using service desk tool such as ServiceNow
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating systems and email technology based on the Microsoft suite of products.
  • Valid Police & Working with Children's check required or willingness to obtain if successful
