About the role:
PSP are a seeking a Senior Property Officer - Property Assets for a 6-month, ongoing contract with our local government client based in South-Western Sydney.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the management of Council’s property portfolio
• Negotiating leases with prospective and existing tenants
• Arranging repairs, maintenance and inspections of leased premises
• Monitoring receipt of rental payments
• Administering legal documents, contracts, leases and licenses
• Preparing road closure applications
• Negotiating and administering easements with statutory bodies

Experience:

• Experience in either Commercial, Industrial or Retail and Residential Property Management
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and understanding of the property industry
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication (written & oral) skills, with an ability to liaise with all members of the community, public sector and business world
• Experience in briefing, engaging and managing the performance of multi-disciplinary service providers

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices, the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity, ethical practice and multi-cultural diversity
• Knowledge and understanding of Property Management Functions and Procedure
• Knowledge of legal contracts applying to property
• Ability to meet time constraints

Tickets/Qualifications:

• Covid Vaccination (copy).
• Class C Driver’s License
• Degree qualifications in Land Economics, Property Management, Real Estate or property related discipline.
