Public Sector People (PSP) is inviting experienced Senior Finance Officers to join a Local Council based in South Western Sydney. We are looking for a candidate with a strong accounting background. There is a strong potential for the role to be extended, pending on performance.

• Local Council in South Western Sydney
• ASAP Start – 3 months temporary contract, Extension pending performance
• $40-43 p/hour + super, incl casual loading

What you’ll deliver

• Debt Reporting
• Reconciliation 
• Transaction Processing
• Assist in the development and documentation of policies and procedures
• Assist the Team Leader of Accounts Receivables

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in similar role preferably in the Public Sector – Government, Education, Not-for-Profit
• SAP experience (Highly Desirable)
• Proven track record of strong interpersonal and time-management skills
• Strong ability to work with complex systems
