Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a Safety Project Officer, to join a Local Government on a temporary basis.

• Monday 18th January – Friday 5th March
• Northern Suburbs 
• $38.36 per hour plus super 

Key Responsibilities: 

• To assist in the delivery of Parks and Open Space Department safety deliverables in accordance with Councils safety management framework.
• Within the Parks & Open Space Business units, in conjunction with team members Review and / or develop Task Risk registers for all tasks.  
• Review and / or develop Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for high risk tasks, in conjunction with team members
• Review and / or develop Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) for tasks, where
• To liaise with stakeholders to achieve the best outcome for the organisation.

Requirements Include:

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:

• Cert 4 minimum OHS or WHS (minimum)
• Project Management
• Safety Documentation
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
