Public Sector People are currently inviting applications for the role of Road and Drainage Maintenance Engineer to work for a council in metropolitan Victoria.  Reporting into the Coordinator of Maintenance, this initial four month temporary role will see you provide technical and practical support relating to planning, resource allocation, supervision, surveillance and administration of road and drainage infrastructure assets.
  
Duties will include but not limited to:

• Monitor field work carried out by contractors within the road reservation
• Undertake proactive audits and recording of road and drainage infrastructure renewal and maintenance works carried out by contractors
• Assist in the review of service authority works
• Assist in the development of business cases for funding of capital works and maintenance programs
