Public Sector People are working with our Local Government Client based in Parramatta and seeking a Recruitment Officer to join the Human Resources Department. This is a critical role and will provide specialist advice, undertake and assist in administration support within the department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join a high performing and friendly Human Resources team.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position is responsible for providing effective services in a range of areas including but not limited to recruitment and selection, policy advice and guidance, coordination of learning and development and Work, Health and Safety.
To be successful in this role you will have knowledge of contemporary human resources management and its practical implementation in the workplace. The position holder will also have the ability to engage effectively with management and staff, work well as part of a team and have a high capacity to manage multiple projects seamlessly.
The role would suit an outcomes focused person looking to establish their HR career with a keen interest in workplace change and organisation development.
Within this role you will be responsible for providing high-level HR administration support and will be manage a specific amount of Client Groups.
Local Government and Recruitment experience is highly advantageous.
