Public Sector People are currently inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the role of Records Manager/ Document Controller for a busy council with a  central location.

Key Duties Include:
  • Assist with the sorting, classification and scanning of Council Records 
  • Train and support program staff on best practice record management technique. 
  • Support with the scheduling of records for disposal in accordance with the Public Records Act 
  • Provide additional administrative support to the Team Leader Information & Knowledge and Corporate Services Department 
Key Requirements:
  • Experience with Records Management
  • Experience with TRIM, DM and One Drive, desirable 
  • A knowledge of local government practice or the demonstrated ability to quickly establish a comprehensive understanding
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and police check
  • Current driving licence
