About the role:
Reporting to the Community Infrastructure Manager, you will work SMEs, stakeholders, and a range of consultants on Business Readiness activities in preparation for their handover and transition to BAU. You will be accountable for managing the successful client side delivery of approved major projects from inception, business readiness through to project completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To be successful in this position you will be an experienced project manager and will have experience in frontline community & cultural service delivery, ideally in a local government setting.
  • The scope of work will include the planning and execution of a broad spectrum of deliverables that includes people, process and systems / technology.
  • Manage project schedules including critical paths, milestones, baselines and forecasts, estimates / actuals data and dependencies, presenting such data and status in a coherent format to a range of audiences, including Project Sponsors, Project Control Groups and Project staff on a weekly basis
  • Work with Project teams, SMEs and consultants to document work breakdown structures, resource requirements and interdependencies.
  • Manage project risks and issues data and registers with project team members, presenting information in a coherent format to a range of audiences, including Project Sponsors, Project Control Groups and Project staff on a weekly basis.
  • Monitor project costs against budget and report identified budget creep in status reporting
  • Ensure project documentation, activities are maintained in line with the Project schedule and Document management requirements.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation in practices, optimization of technology, procedures and recommendations with the aim of providing better service to the client base in line with the organization's values
Key Skill:
  • Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline such as project management, engineering, business administration and / or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • A Current Project Management Practitioner Accreditation, ideally Prince2 or PMBOK
  • Experience in managing critical paths, milestones and baseline forecasts, estimate / actual data and presenting such data in a coherent format for a range of audiences, including senior
    management, project team members.
