Seeking a Project Engineer with local government exposure, working with a high performing team in regional Victoria. Located only one and a half hours northeast of Melbourne in one of the most picturesque regions, surrounded by lakes, snowfields, walks and wineries.
  
You will be responsible for;

• Coordinate, plan, manage and deliver assigned capital works projects in consultation with the relevant business units of Council.
• Manage internal and external communication processes during the delivery of any capital works projects.
• Supervise and report on works being undertaken by contractors to ensure capital works projects are being delivered in an effective and efficient manner.
• Develop planning permit applications and obtain appropriate Council and other authorities’ approval as required for the delivery of capital works projects.

As the ideal candidate, you will have;

• Post-secondary qualification (diploma or degree equivalent) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience successfully delivering Capital Works projects to time, quality, and budget constraints; ideally within or for Local Government
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supervision of civil and general construction works.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Current Victorian Driver’s license.
