Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to an experienced Procurement & Contracts Coordinator to join a Local Government on a temporary full-time basis.
  • 5th July - 1st October
  • North Western Suburbs
  • $58.83 per hour plus super
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for the leadership of the Procurement Team and the management of the key deliverables of the Procurement service unit.
Requirements Include:
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and influence desirable outcomes
  • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills including analysing a large set of data from varied systems and preparing reports with supporting data
  • Experience working in Government procurement environment within a regulatory framework
  • Lead and manage the team of Procurement staff including mentoring and providing guidance in the day to day management of procurement activities
  • Ability to work with procurement and contract related system
  • Knowledge of regulatory framework that apply to local government procurement and ability to advise stakeholders on the best practice procurement approaches
The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
  • National Criminal History check
