Public Sector People is proudly partnering with Central Goldfields Shire Council to appoint a Manager Technology and Customer Service reporting directly to the General Manager Corporate Performance.
Central Goldfields Shire is seeking a for a highly motivated, experienced professional to develop the strategic direction of Councils IT capability, and transforming Council’s information, data and record management capability and performance.
The Manager Technology and Customer Service is a senior change management role, with a focus on improving customer experience and initiatives for new IT technologies within all areas of Council

The REM - Local Government - Band 8 – Range Circa $111K - $124K + Super (depending on qualifications and experience). Full private use of a vehicle is available. Cost deduced from cash. Indicative cost approx. $10K depending on vehicle chosen.

- Drive continuous improvement in customer experience across the whole organisation
- Enable front-line customer service teams to deliver enhanced customer experience
- Promote a compliant, efficient information and records management culture
- Provide Leadership and technical advice across all aspects of IT systems, leading a multi-disciplined team in delivering emerging technologies
To be considered for this role you must:
- Hold a degree or diploma in IT with and/or extensive industry experience
- Possess strong knowledge of key IT technologies and audit/business improvement tools
- Demonstrate your experience in driving a customer-focused system redesign
- Can lead, manager and coach a team for change and influence others
- Knowledge of PM methodologies and gained certificates
- Understand relevant IT legislation and statutory responsibilities for local government bodies
