About the role:

Public Sector People are currently inviting applications for the role of Human Resources Coordinator to join a Council in Melbourne's outer north. This opportunity is a temporary contract to start immediately for 3 months.

General Duties Include:
  • Accountable to the Director CSS for the quality, effectiveness, cost and timeliness of work plans, programs, projects, events, initiatives, including systems and technology being managed
  • Implement and report progress towards achieving objectives, goals and budgets
  • Responsible to perform duties and provide specialist advice to Managers and staff in matters relating to human resources
  • Support staff to implement the risk and safety management system and manage the updating of the Risk Register
Requirements include:
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or similar relevant discipline
  • 3-5 years practicing in HR, Minimum 2 years’ experience in co-coordinating human resources functions and personnel practices including Occupational Health & Safety
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
