Job Description
Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to experienced Business Improvement Project Manager to join a Local Government organisation for 6-months minimum.
Working as part of council's Innovation Team, this role be responsible for the management & implementation of complex business improvement initiatives. To achieve success you will partner with various business stakeholders in understanding the "current start" and utilising best practice business improvement, change management & project management methodologies to deliver "future state".
Key Requirements
- August 2022 start date
- 6-month contract with the likelihood to be extended
- Daily rate up to $1000 a day
- 38 hours week
- Council based in Melbourne's inner west
- Change Management | Project Management | Lean Six Sigma

Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Business or related field OR 8+ YEARS of experience in successfully transforming key high volume business transactions
- Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt Certified)
High level of understanding and experience in the use of best practice Project and Change Management Frameworks - Ability to lead, negotiate and influence key stakeholders in the delivery of projects on time, to budget and specification
- Highly developed communication skills, particularly the ability to liaise and consult with key stakeholders, and colleagues and build networking relationships and to prepare summaries, reports and submissions across varying levels
- Strong business analytical skills; including process reengineering, value chain mapping, business impact matrices and ROI models
