Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to an experienced Reporting & Systems Analyst to join a Local Government on a contract.  
  • 6-month contract with a possible extension
  • Excellent role for a candidate with a BA AND Project Manager background
  • Full time
  • Inner Melbourne Suburb location – hybrid working, in the office & WFH
  • Band 7 ($60 - $70 per hour + super)

Key Criteria: 
  • This role plays a key part in understanding the organisations performance and future planning. Through extensive reporting you will share useful insights to monitor the health of project delivery which in turn will impact decision making.
  • Lead the monthly reporting process and ensure Project Managers and Sponsors are provided with clear guidance on time and quality expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide improvement opportunities and drive these improvements in methodologies, reporting and processes.
  • Provide relevant analysis of project tracking data to support the planning and delivery of the project’s portfolio.
  • Ensure users are adequately trained using the enterprise software and understand their contribution to the projects.

Requirements Include:

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
  • Tertiary qualification in IT and/or relevant industry experience. Relevant qualifications would be PRINCE2 or any Agile Certifications.
  • Experience using Technology One would be beneficial.
  • Experience in providing in-depth analysis of program and project performance at an enterprise level.
  • Experience in administering project management systems and able to provide training to users.
  • This is a great role for a candidate who has experience as a Business Analyst and Project Coordinator/ Manager seeking a new challenge.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Able to interpret complex project management data including scope, risk, issues, benefits, cost and schedule.
