Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a Endpoint Architect who would be interested in an initial 3-month contract within a Local Government organisation.   
  • Immediate Start
  • Initial 3-month contract with the view to extend another 6-months
  • Flexible working arrangement (Inner Melbourne location)
  • $900 - $1000 daily rate + super
This role will be playing a crucial part in the digital transformation project that is currently taking place with an additional 2 years on the project timeline. This role specifically will be responsible for configuration for all Endpoint and Mobile devices and managing and maintaining Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM).

This role will begin as a 3-month contract with the view to be extended another 6-months beyond that.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create baseline configuration for all Endpoint and Mobile devices in line with agreed technology standards.
  • Lead the engineering for endpoint systems including managing security, planning improvements, and ensuring systems are designed and implemented in a manner that supports a good customer experience.
  • Creation of scope documentation for third party vendors.
  • Endpoint strategy documentation that is aligned to enterprise architect and digital transformation.
  • Documentation of scope, change controls, high level design, detailed level design and configuration.
  • You will be involved with technical architecture and projects and your technical knowledge will be required. You will be responsible for making sound decisions regarding reliability, security, availability and manageability of endpoint and infrastructure services.
Requirements Include:

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
  • Significant industry experience with a track record in an IT endpoint engineering role, including changes and support for services such as Microsoft SSCM, MEM/Intune, MDM technologies, AD, AAD, PowerShell scripting, Windows OS, and Microsoft security technologies.
  • Experience with the inclusion of cyber security in the design and management of endpoint systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to readily identify, understand, and resolve problems.
  • If successful in the role, you will be required to have an up-to-date National Police Check.
