Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a Digital Content Advisor join a Local Government on a contract.  
  • Inner Melbourne suburb location (WFH available)
  • Immediate start date
  • 3-month contract
  • $55 - $70 an hour + super
Key Criteria: 
  • Experience and expertise in CX and UX design methods, tools and techniques as well as user interface design ensuring content follows best practice standards.
  • Plan and create the digital customer-facing content presented in the new services platform (including online forms, notifications, service names and micro-copy) and on relevant areas of the corporate website.
  • Work with the Strategic Communications team to publish content on the corporate website.
  • Work with the project team to develop new and resign existing UX patterns used in the project as required.
  • This role is responsible for synthesising complex service information into customer-focused online form content and the related sections of the corporate website.
  • Working in agile sprints, the role will collaborate with service designers, projects managers, developers, and subject matter experts.
Requirements Include:

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
  • Related Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to translate complex content into customer-friendly, plain English, suitable for the audience and digital channels/ web.
  • Experience working as a web content professional for large complex organisations.
  • Aware and understands agile methodology and how to apply an agile mindset to all aspects of their work.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player and able to guide a team with a high level of emotional intelligence and judgements while collaborating and cooperating on decisions and initiatives.
