Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a Digital & Website Advisor join a Local Government on a contract.  
  • Remote working, must have own equipment
  • Immediate start date
  • Initial 3 month contract, could be offered Full time
  • Up to $39 an hour + super (flexible for the right candidate)
  • Open to part time arrangement
Key Criteria: 
This contract position has a lot of potential for the right person! The main requirement is to have a forward thinking approach, being able to proactively react to your surroundings and have the required skillset within digital and websites. The team is going through a huge change but it is an extremely exciting time and you will have the opportunity to work alongside talented individuals with innovative ideas and aspirations. 

Duties will include but are not limited to: 
  • Write, edit, approve, and publish content on the organisation’s website. You must have experience in website content management and understand the application of best practice of SEO, readability, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1.
  • Reply to website feedback submissions, using the responses to make content improvements and improve the overall user experience.
  • Manage all incoming digital requests and work closely with the content authors, marketing and communications team and technical staff to implement best practice digital solutions.
  • Ad hoc support to the marketing and digital team.
  • Website maintenance when required.
Requirements Include:

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
  • Related Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in website content management and enterprise content management systems. 
  • A great attitude!! The hiring manager is looking for someone who is outgoing, can take direction on board and can proactively make suggestions to improve the processes. 
  • You do not need to have experience in Local Government, if you have a creative agency background, I would recommend applying! 
  • MUST HAVE OWN EQUIPMENT
