Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to an experienced Digital & Website Advisor to join a Local Government on a 12-month contract.   
  • Start 10th May  
  • 12-month contract
  • Full time – flexible working in the office and from home
  • South Eastern Suburb
  • $39 an hour + super   
Key Criteria: 
  • Write, edit, approve, and publish the content for the organisation’s website.
  • Assistance with the newsletter by proof reading, editing, and scheduling the release. Providing feedback to the content writers on how to improve the engagement.
  • Continuously improve digital content, ensuring it meets readability requirements, accessibility, SEO and quality assurance standards.
  • Reply to website feedback submissions.
  • Use analytics platforms to generate reports on website performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide support to the marketing and digital design teams.
  • Routing website maintenance on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements Include:

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
  • 4-5 years of website content management experience ideal.
  • Understanding and application of best practice SEO, readability and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
  • An understanding of the Victorian Governments Digital standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a strong focus on editorial projects within digital communications.
