Exciting new opportunity in the West!

Public Sector People
 are currently inviting applications for the role of a Cultural Venues Finance And Reporting Officer to join a Council in the western suburbs.
  • Start ASAP
  • 3 Months
  • $36 per hour plus superannuation
  • 4 days a week (flexible on days)
Duties include:
  • In consultation with the Supervisor, monitor financial activities and financial targets
  • Generate reports on facilities usage to assist in budget preparation and service delivery planning. Ensuring all financial reporting is produced in an accurate and timely manner
  • Perform day to day administrative duties as directed by the Supervisor, across the aforementioned venues
  • Carry out other duties commensurate with skills and abilities as deemed reasonable and appropriate to the role as directed from time to time
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in business administration, book keeping or similar or lesser formal qualification with experience in community development, facility management, contract management and/or bookings
  • Experienced in communicating with, supporting and advising community groups, especially within the community services area including understanding of Community Centres/Neighborhood Hubs
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite together with proficiency in event management software (EBMS), sound organisational and administrative skills
