Job Description
Public Sector People are working with a regional council on the recruitment of an Acting Planning Coordinator to act in the role while they recruit it on a permanent basis.
You will be leading a team of five planners. The team work on a diverse range of applications - residential, industrial and commercial, as well as subdivision, native vegetation control and planning enforcement.
Open to Coordinators, Team Leaders or Principal Planners who want to take a step into a Coordinator role for the first time. Flexible working hours, three days in the office and two days from home.
This council are located less tan an hour and a half from the CBD. They would also welcome someone on a contract basis who was interested in securing the role permanently.

- Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Planning or related discipline.
- At least five years’ experience within Urban Planning or a related field.
- Public Sector experience, ideally at a Team Lead or Coordinator level.
