Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a Business Intelligence Developer Lead join a Local Government on a contract.  
  • 3-month contract, possible extension
  • 26th July start date
  • South East Melbourne location
  • $61 - $69 per hour + super, dependent on experience
Key Criteria: 
  • Critically evaluate current Business Intelligence solutions to assist with making recommendations regarding future state requirements and influence business decisions and planning.
  • Lead the delivery and support of business intelligence and date projects with a strong focus on high performance and innovation.
  • Provide high level analytics that help inform the organisation of their capability and to assist in making meaningful decisions.
  • Develop standard reports and functional dashboards. The reports will be generated for internal and external customers for business performance, monitoring and to help inform decision making.
  • Oversee budgets and actively support project delivery. 
Requirements Include:

The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
  • Bachelors Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field in computer science desirable.
  • Microsoft BI Stack development experience (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and Power BI.
  • Microsoft Azure experience & certification highly regarded.
  • SQL Database Administration and expert understanding of RDBMS.
  • Able to provide high level analytics.
  • Must have a National Police check & Working with Children Check
