Job Description

Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to Assessment and Review Officers with the Aged Care sector to join a Local Government from April to December 2019.

About the role:
  • 8 month temporary assignment
  • Work within one of the largest government areas
  • 75km from CBD

General Duties Include:
  • Knowledge of issues relating to frail aged people, people with dementia, people with disabilities and their carers
  • Awareness and support of the philosophies of healthy ageing, promotion of independence, non intrusive care and general disabilities
  • Knowledge of funding, HACC guidelines and administration, MAC systems and Council policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of comprehensive assessment and review practices, preparation of a Care Plan , service delivery plan and ability to accurately assess and prioritise the target group
  • Program planning and development skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of Carelink+ system
Requirements include:
  • Demonstrated experience in Assessment practice and preparation of Care Plans
  • A First Aid certificate is desirable
