Job Description

Public Sector People are currently inviting applications for the role of Planning Support Officer to join our client in Melbourne's coastal south-east. This position will offer an initial 3 month contact with the potential for an on-going opportunity. 

The responsibilities of your role is to provide administration support to the Statutory Planning unit, to maintain databases, planning & subdivision filing along with coordinating referrals to statutory authorities & then provide notice of application. 

Key Requirements: 
  • Qualifications in administration or customer service, & experience within the town planning, subdivision or building area within the relevant industry
  • Experience with systems such as; PATHWAY, TRIM , MERIT, OBJECTIVE or similar 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Previous experience supporting large teams & managing conflicting priorities
