Job Description

Public Sector People are currently inviting applications for the role of Building & Planning Support Administration officer to join our client a prestigious south-eastern based council on a contract until the end of financial year 2019! 

The responsibilities of your role is to provide administration support to the Building & Planning teams to maintain databases, building permits, planning & subdivision filing along with coordinating referrals to statutory authorities & then provide notice of application. 

Key Requirements: 
  • Qualifications in administration or customer service, & experience within the town planning, subdivision or building area within the relevant industry
  • Experience with systems such as; PATHWAY, AUTHORITY, TRIM & SPEAR or similar 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Previous experience supporting large teams & managing conflicting priorities
