Principal Urban Planner (Grade 19, $130,579 – $146,253 + 12% Super) Blacktown City Council is looking for an accomplished Principal Urban Planner to provide high-level technical expertise and leadership in the preparation of strategic land use planning policies and environmental planning instruments.

- Mentor and guide professional planners within the team.
What You’ll Bring - Degree in Urban Planning or related field, with extensive experience in strategic planning.
- High-level project management, research and analytical capability.
- Excellent report writing, negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant planning legislation and statutory instruments.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
