FIND A JOB IN YOUR discipline
Since joining Public Sector People in 2018, Bryony Reid has had a tremendous impact on the business, particularly in building our Human Resources and Finance desk in Melbourne. Not to mention her work with DEAKIN Talent - the Careers and Employment Service for Deakin University, which assists graduates in finding roles within councils across regional Victoria. Bryony worked closely with Deakin TALENT to help graduates get their resumes in front of hiring managers and assist successful candidates with relevant resources (sample questions and videos) during the shortlisting process. Consequently, we are delighted to announce that Bryony has been promoted to Senior Consultant within Public Sector People.
Let’s hear about what Bryony’s promotion to Senior Consultant means to her…
Why join Public Sector People?
I joined Public Sector People (PSP) for the people and opportunities. From my initial interview I was made to feel at ease, they were honest about all aspects of the business and their expectations of me. I could tell they trusted the people they hire which gave me confidence in how my career would progress and the people I would be working a long side. The team are supportive, friendly, and super encouraging, we aren’t just colleagues, we are all friends. Public Sector People has the foundations to build a great career and reputation across the industry which is a pleasure to be part of. I am very grateful for my time so far at PSP and look forward to what the future holds.
What does the promotion to Senior Consultant mean to you?
Its fab! It is the best feeling to be recognised for the work you do and to be rewarded for it. Its given me greater confidence in the work I do and has cemented even further how much the teams have guided and supported me over the last couple of years.
“Bryony has bought a huge amount of positive energy from the day she started with PSP. Her unwavering approach to do the absolute best by everyone she interacts with is a real testament to her character. Bryony has built a new vertical within our business with a sense of purpose and a want to be the best. We thank Bryony for the amazing amount of hard work she has put in and congratulate her on her promotion to Senior Consultant.”
Tom Dumper – Managing Director, Public Sector People
Where do you want to take your career?
My focus at the moment is to continue building relationships with colleagues, clients and candidates. With this I believe will lead to further progression within PSP which I hope one day could result in leading my own team and having a trusted reputation within the industry. For me, it’s more about the people I worked with across the board and what I am doing to help.
“I take great pleasure & pride in working alongside Bryony, her work ethic and true care, passion and dedication she shows to not only her candidates, clients but her colleagues is second to none. Thank you so much for all your hard work Bryony I look forward to many more years working with you.”
