2019 has been a great year for Sarah Kettlewell... A year full of milestones and great achievements such as the launch of Public Sector People and winning awards for ‘Best Consultant for Candidate Experience’ - and it looks like 2020 is going in the same direction with her promotion to Team Leader.
Congratulations Sarah, what does the promotion to Team Leader mean to you?
This is really exciting for me; I have really enjoyed by time with D&B/PSP and have been provided so much trust and support in order to develop into where I am today. To be given the opportunity to continue to grow individually along with the growth of PSP, whilst mentoring and leading other staff is something that I am really proud and excited to be a part of.
How has your first year within the new PSP team been? Are there any stand out moments from the year you can think of?
The first year with PSP has been AMAZING, watching the team grow and develop, bringing more consultants on board, and starting up in both QLD & NSW along with branching into a lot more sectors and seeing how positively received this has been.
It has also been a standout seeing how passionate all the consultants are to genuinely do the best they can for their clients, candidate and colleagues, which is reflective in the success and growth of PSP in the last 12 months.
You also won ‘Best Consultant for Candidate Experience’ at the Recruitment International Awards earlier this year. What did winning this award mean to you?
I take so much pride in making the candidate experience a positive one, having been a candidate in the market myself in the past it can be tough place to be, so being able to act as an honest, transparent and caring point of contact in this process and be recognised for it is something very special.
It has been amazing to see Sarah’s growth over her 4 years with Public Sector People, her development into a leader in our business is due to her strong ethics and a want to lead by example in all things she does. Her continuous candidate and client feedback continue to amaze us. I am sure the energy she brings to the role every day will make her a huge success and it is that infectious energy which makes the people around her really push themselves to do their best.
- Tom Dumper, Managing Director
What can we expect from you and your team in 2020?
My team and I will be working hard to continue to be trusted advisors within the Victorian Local Government space to our clients and candidates.
