Emma joined Design & Build as part of the local government team before we became Public Sector People. Having come from a large agency, Emma wanted to be part of a team where she could dedicate more of herself to candidates and clients, meaning she could fully understand her candidates needs and do everything to help them achieve their goals.

Since then she has been a key factor in the growth of our Public Sector brand which is why we are delighted to announce that she has been promoted to Project Leader.

Congratulations Emma, how has your first year within the new PSP team been?

The first year of the new PSP brand has been a whirlwind, it’s gone by so quickly. Our team has grown and our presence in the industry is growing alongside it. We have had really positive feedback from candidates and clients alike around our new brand, the fact we are dedicated solely to the public sector resonates with people and they know that we can provide a tailored service. The success we have achieved in the first year means we have only bigger and better things to come!

What does the promotion to Project Leader mean to you?

Having been in the business for a while now, I was eager to have some input on ‘’how we do things’’ and how to streamline processes, etc. Thankfully, my directors are happy to listen and take on board any new ideas and gave me the opportunity to take on some further responsibility. As a project leader, I can have an impact on our business wide processes, while still recruiting within the planning and design space, which I love.

"Emma continues to show that being a true specialist, who prides herself on authenticity, resonates with Clients, Candidates and our Team. She has a want to put other peoples needs first, whether that be taking the lead on a number of the charity events we have done, coming up with innovative ways to look at our internal process or coming up with ideas for our social nights - she is always there to contribute. A real asset to the team with an ability to look at challenges which come up from a different angle."
