As we go live with Public Sector People, it is amazing to see what has been achieved and how far we have come as a team since Design & Build commenced in 2004. In our formative years, Design & Build was primarily focused on providing recruitment within our niche market, predominately: civil engineering, town planning and building surveying within local government. Today, PSP offers a wide range of recruitment and employment opportunities as well as tailored solutions that are specifically designed for the unique challenges we face in partnering with local councils and as well as organisations within the public sector.
With offices in Victoria, NSW and Queensland, PSP now have a team of designated consultants working across four key disciplines:
PSP has continued to adapt, perform and grow our presence within the local government market, with a strong focus towards compliance and AfterCare. Partnering with both metropolitan and regional organisations across the public sector.
PSP are proud to be an approved recruitment partner and agency supplier under Procurement Australia. PA has been operating since 1985, facilitating public tenders and established contracts for their 700 members nationwide. Not only is this a mark of quality, PSP has the ability to assist you quickly and simply across both temporary and permanent opportunities to members of Procurement Australia.
PSP are also an approved partner to Comensura, allowing us to supply temporary staff across both metropolitan and regional councils in Victoria and Queensland. A relationship that has been in place since 2008.
During my ten years with Design & Build and shortly PSP, I have witnessed first-hand the challenges our clients, candidates and colleagues have faced as well as the ever-changing recruitment landscape within the public sector. What stands out for me is our ability to evolve and adapt as a team whilst remaining true to our company mission. We don’t just say it, we mean it and live by it. This is reflected in our actions as well as how we monitor this as a business.
Feedback is important to the team at PSP and monitored throughout the recruitment cycle, ensuing our clients and candidates are given the opportunity to provide commentary.
At PSP it is not about the short-term gains but the long-term relationships and where we can bring value to the recruitment process for both candidates and clients.
Our company values, honest communication, care, feedback and focus are integral to all that we do at PSP and forms the very foundations of the relationships we create with both our candidates and clients and in time, I believe, a relationship built on Trust.
This also presents the perfect opportunity for the team and I to thank our candidates and clients for their continued support over the years. We realise that without this, PSP would not be here today and look forward to continuing to assist those working or wishing to work within the public sector.
